The Instructors code of conduct, necessitates that every instructor preserve, and reveal the true time-honored spirit of Budo always, therefore to amplify to others their traditional martial art honor and etiquette.
All National Martial Arts Association instructors will not tolerate the use of narcotics or performance-enhancing drugs by instructors or students and will support students efforts to be drug-free. All instructors refrain from tobacco and alcohol use while they are instructing.
All National Martial Arts Association members will ensure that any physical contact with a student is appropriate to the situation and necessary for their skill development and instructors will provide a safe and healthy environment for training.
All National Martial Arts Association instructors and members have an obligation to be familiar with this Code of Conduct. Lack of awareness or misunderstanding of an ethical standard is not itself a defense to a charge of unethical conduct.
